This year the Made in America Music Festival falls on Labor Day weekend. It takes place at Benjamin Franklin Parkway. This event is for ages 21 and up and features an exciting live music lineup on Sept. 3 and 4. This year musical guests include Rihanna, Coldplay, Chance the Rapper, FKA Twigs, Grimes, Gallant, DJ Khaled and dozens more. Tickets may be purchased online as single day passes or a two day pass. If music is your passion, this might be the perfect way to spend your weekend.
Take advantage of the nice summer weather by spending the weekend outside at Spruce Street Harbor Park. This park features colorful hammocks, floating gardens, sparkling lights, refreshing beverages, delicious food options and more. The park is open Sunday-Thursday from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. and Friday & Saturday is it open until 1 a.m. The park is great for both adults and children with fun games like waterfront bocce, ping pong, shuffle board, bean bag toss, life-sized chess, connect four, giant Jenga, tetherball, arcade games and more!
